Crack Addicts and Addictions

Crack addicts by far are the worst types of addicts in the world. Crack addicts will sell their own bodies, sell their children, steal, lie, cheat, connive, etc all in the name of crack. Crack addicts often get started on crack by trying the harsh chemical out of curiosity, and fatally the person lands in a snare that leads them straight into addiction.

Still, is crack, an addictive drug and can everyone become addicted to crack? Simply put, no. Some people may try the drug out of curiosity while others may come in contact with the drug (someone putting drugs in a marijuana joint) and may feel miserable after contact and will never use the drug again. (Or else pray no one laces his or her joint again)

Crack addicts often lack mechanisms in their physical or mental area that leads them to drugs. Not everyone that has mental or physical illnesses however will resort to alcohol and/or drugs to relieve their suffering.

Still, something inside the person is driving them to crack to find relief of suffering. Most people that drink heavily or else drug are trying to relieve something inside with the exception of those trying to escape reality.

Crack addicts are complex. It is hard to define crack addicts in whole. Most people that are drug addicts will use a specific drug and/or series of drugs, while crack need crack. No alcohol or other drug will suffice for most crack addicts.

In my experience, I learnt to detest crack addicts. Of all the people in the world needing help, these people are highly disturbing and crazy in nature. I spoke with a woman that encountered a crack head and the information she provided me was disturbing, and would make anyone angry.

The woman befriended a man over ten years ago, and this person was a real good person. She hadn’t seen him in over ten years, and when they meet again (both happy to see each other) agreed to hang out together. The woman spending time with him found that he smoked marijuana. While she did not like the drug, she agreed to test it out of curiosity. To her surprise she found her self in the floor sweat pouring from her flesh, shaking violently and paranoia set in. the woman furious asked the man what he had done, he said he only put a ‘rock’ in the joint, which in fact is crack.

The man not only violated her by putting the drug without her knowledge into the joint, he also attempted to sodomize the woman. The woman hated this man and never spoke with him again with the exception that every time she seen his car at an establishment, she would stop and cuss him in front of people to let others know what type of person he became.

What do we have here? One good man turning sore by reason of crack cocaine, and one woman victimized by the crack addict and this is not uncommon, i.e. crack addicts don’t care who they hurt.

Another incident occurred in Chicago, while a woman addicted to crack attempted to sell her young daughters (8-9) to strangers all in the name of crack. As you can see, crack addicts will do anything regardless of whom they hurt to get crack in their system. Sometimes these people will become violent if this is what it takes.

As I write this article I attempt very hard not to give off my opinion, however, I will say this, as for crack heads, they need to be institutionalized and permanently removed from society. Some may recover, but for the most of them they resort back to crack.

Crack is a new type of slavery. In other words, a person wanted something done will use drugs, giving it to another person, and that person becomes hooked, the first person gets his wants filled, and now we have two addicts. As you can see, crack is dangerous, enslaving, and exceptional wrong. Unfortunately, most crack addicts will not seek help.

Addictions Crossing Over Cross-Addictions

A person might go to an AA Meeting and tell the audience they are a cross-addictive survivor, yet many of the people may become confused. Cross-addictions are using alcohol, drugs combined, and being addicted to both.

Alcoholics will often drink alcohol and stay away from drugs with the exceptional occasions that they may try drugs out of curiosity. Drug addicts will often use drugs to escape reality, yet they will drink alcohol without the purpose of getting drunk.

Cross-addicts will use both alcohol and drugs to receive a height of highness. Sometimes cross addicts will depend on alcohol to receive the level of high, especially when they cannot make connections with dealers to obtain drugs, or else they are low on cash and cannot afford the drugs. Likewise, if the person has money they will buy drugs and drinks to get their level of high, or sometimes the person will drink or drug one day dismissing one of the substances or chemicals.

Cross-addictions are far more dangerous than alcoholism, since mixing drugs and alcohol can lead to death sooner. Cross-addicts will use cocaine, amphetamine, marijuana, alcohol, liquor, etc without caring what substances and chemicals they mix.

Cross-addicts take greater risks than common alcoholics do, i.e. they often affiliate with drug dealers, users, etc which puts them at risk of going to prison, not excluding the risk of losing their life. The drugs and alcohol is not the only area of threat to life in this situation, since when bad blood crosses in drug relationships, death could be the ultimate result.

Cross-addicts are often in extreme denial, while alcoholics will admit they have drinking problems, yet fail to see the results of drinking. Drug and alcohol addicts will hide heavier than common alcoholics will, since they are behaving illegally. In other words, drugs are against the law; therefore, the person has to use extreme precautions, which brings on paranoia.

Paranoia often sets in because a person has to live in secrecy ongoing, and because the person is breaking the law, including, moral laws. Cross-addicts are less revealing. Cross-addicts rarely tell anyone other than druggies or persons they feel they can trust behaving in like manner, but will not tell family, true friends, or counselors. Rarely do they seek help until the law comes in and the person is arrested and forced by the courts to seek help. Some people confuse paranoia with paranoid, however paranoid is more extreme and anyone with paranoid symptoms is either schizophrenic, psychotic, etc.

Alcoholics tend to fall into the arms of the law before getting help also, however some alcoholics will try to quite on their own, or else seek help on their own contrary to what others believe.

Cross-addicts will also commit other crimes in some instances. Especially if the person uses crack cocaine, the person will often steal, lie, sell self as sex to get drugs, sell children, etc. Crack addicts are by far the worse types of drug addicts in the world. They have no purpose in life often, and often feel as though the life is drained from their souls. Cocaine addicts will also commit other crimes, yet they are passive and rarely expose their actions. For example, cocaine addicts might sell drugs to support their habits, or else swindle or even steal on occasions to find ways to support their addictions.

Marijuana is more or less a pastime drug, and while some claim it is addictive, I would have to see more evidence and facts that support their claims. Therefore, marijuana is not something I would put in the category of addictions. In fact, my counselor’s husband smoked marijuana and she is the one that put me to thinking more into marijuana, yet I hate the stuff, so regardless I find no use of it, yet it is the only statistical poll on the marketplace, i.e. the drug has caused no deaths at this time. This includes affecting the heart that would cause death.

Addictions Pain Inside

Pain Addiction comes in more than one form, i.e. pain addicts my focus on eliminating pain, or else issuing pain. Some people will use pain to escape, at the same time feel pleasure from the pain experienced. Some people issue pain, inflicting harm to their flesh in an effort to seek attention. In rare instances, pain addicts will cause harm to the body, which could lead to accidental death. It is rare, but it does happen. The sensations of the pain issued to the body makes the adrenaline rush, which becomes additive.

The second type of pain addiction is opposite, yet other addictions follow pursuit since the goal is to annihilate pain, rather than enjoy pain. Rather, the person often suffers chronic pain, which strive the person to use pain pills, alcohol, drugs, etc to kill the pain. Now we have added problems, since rather than utilizing strategies to reduce the chronic pain, we have people relying on drugs, prescriptions, and alcohol to find relief of pain.

Pain addicts that cause harm to find pleasure from pain will use pain to escape. While escape in this instance is vague since each person differs…for a variety of reasons, it leads the person to issue pain to escape either family stress or school problems, or even peer, pressure. Expectations are often difficult for these people to understand. When expectations are placed upon the person, they resort to pain, which in turn increases the adrenaline giving the person a high effect. This is often the reason addictions come into play, i.e. the feeling makes them crave the feelings.

Regardless of the notion, either way we have pain addictions, since one uses pain to escape reality or the other uses harmful substances and chemicals to reduce pain. In both instances, death is involved, yet only in rare cases. Some addicts of pain will endure suicidal tendencies, which are often triggered by depression.

Those utilizing pain to escape will often cut themselves, either on the wrist, arm, legs, or neck. The person often does this in privacy, thus their plans to commit suicide is unknown to others. In some instances, the person might tell someone that they are suicidal. Now we have to consider this, because we have variants of suicidal, i.e. we have suicidal thoughts, suicidal tendencies, suicidal traits etc with suicidal thoughts as being far more dangerous than suicidal tendencies and/or traits.

To help you understand we can label and define tendencies, thoughts, and traits in order. Suicidal tendencies come in spurts. The person often feels the tendency to commit suicide, yet the thoughts are weak in this instance e.g. the thoughts are backed by attention getters. In other words, these types often seek attention, rather than death.

Traits are hereditary in some instances. The person may not be suicidal thoughtfully, yet may experience times of thinking suicide, whilst they will often wonder why these thoughts are occurring. Traits are one of the areas that we can consider that accidents could lead to death, yet each area of suicidal, i.e. traits, thoughts, and tendencies are nothing to take lightly.

Thoughts on the other hand is far more dangerous, i.e. a person thinking suicidal thoughts might not tell anyone what they are thinking, and will in fact act out on their emotions and thoughts. The mind is powerful, and thoughts, is one of the most powerful mechanisms of the human mind that can in fact lead to death.

Thus, where does death come into play? Some pain addicts will kill self slowly by engaging in harmful habits that lead to death gradually, while others will tire out of their suffering and will act on thoughts of suicide to escape wholly from their suffering. Still those cutting their neck, arms, wrists, and legs, e.g. if they cut their neck, and wrist it could become fatal and accidentally they could die.

If you know anyone harming the body with sharp objects, or else enduring thoughts, traits, or tendencies of suicide, seek help immediately.

Pain Addictions

Pain addictions is not only a scary subject, the people that engage in causing harm to self brings in a frightening notion. Pain addictions comprise a person utilizing sharp objects to cause harm to the body. The person may also engage in drugs, however, the drugs only release the suffering temporarily and superficially, therefore the ultimate relief for those with pain addictions is self-mutilation, self-destruction, self-torture, etc.

If you know someone with pain addictions, it is VITAL that you take the initiative and seek help for the person. Often persons with addictions are denying the fact that a problem exists. Pain addictions can lead to serious harm, or else death. While most people rarely hear about pain addictions, the problems are ever increasing and have been in existing since beyond the days of Christ. In fact, pain addictions are seen in sadism.

Pain addiction as defined is taking pleasure in pain and suffering in which the person is often driven by compulsions that lead them to hurt the body. Pain addictions are worse than most believe. The addition is serious in nature, and the pain resulting from the bodily injuries is often causes serious pain while the suffering party will deny any claims of suffering.

The pain substitutes an escape of mental sufferings, yet some people with pain addictions gain pleasure from the harm caused to the body. Paid addicts often cause harm to self to attract attention from parents, spouse, etc. It is rare in some instances, but some people cause their own death by issuing pain to the body. Sometimes the death is related to accidental causes, yet it still falls in the hands of the addict.

The pleasurable sensations arriving from pain too few cause the adrenaline to flow, which becomes addictive. The ultimate purpose of pain is to escape the realities and the problems that life sends our way.

Vague defines escape in this instance, since depending on the person an assortment of escape applies. Teenagers will often resort to harming self since family life and/or school is stressful. Possibly the teen struggles in school and falls short of expectations, or else at home the attention the child needs is not available. Thus, the pain initiated will cause adrenaline to rush, which in return gives the addict an affect of feeling high. This sometimes relieves the craving to feel pain, and often the person will cease until the need reappears.

Some people enduring pain addictions may also experience suicidal tendencies. The tendencies are brought in by depression, which triggers cases of death. Young adults tend to slice their wrists, neck, arms, or legs while issuing pain.

If the person is truly contemplating suicide, they will not allow others to become aware of this thought. Those telling others that they are suicidal are crying for help, yet most times, they are seeking attention. Most teenagers will carve letters into their flesh, such as the letter X, or else carve straight lines across the wrist.

Any signs or threats of suicide regarding its motive should not be taken lightly. Accidents can lead to death even if the person does not truly intend to commit the act of suicide. Thus, most persons issue pain is seeking pleasure, while issuing pain will accidentally slice the wrist deeper than intended. Thus, the person may feel frighten when cutting self beyond his/her means, and will attempt to deal with the situation self, yet sometimes it is in vane.

Note: Some paid addicts will experience suicidal thoughts and/or tendencies and will choke self, which often comprises cutting off the blood flow to the brain. The brain will go into shock, which kills the brain cells and can cause brain damage and/or death. This will cause the person to lose balance, and often they will fall helpless to the ground.

If you notice someone with scars on their wrists, neck, arms, legs, etc stay vigilant and seek help immediately.

Why Alcohol Addictions?

What makes a person drink? Why does a person go through life relying on alcohol to relieve stress? Some people believe that alcohol addition is hereditary, while many believe it is a behavior problem.

The fact is alcoholism is hereditary, yet it does not show up in lineages. Alcoholics come from a background of mental illnesses. Most times the underlying illness is undetected and the person suffers never knowing why. This can lead to frustration and misery, thus the alcohol consumption tends to relieve the aching mind.

The person may attend AA meetings or else seek professional mental health. Yet, until the mental illness and/or ailment is dealt with and understood, the person will continue drinking, sometimes until death.

One reason a reviewer pointed out when asked why he drank? He said, “Boredom” was the primary fact, thus the alcohol was something to do for him. He also enjoys bar scenes. When asked again, what other reasons prompt him to drink he said, “He is quiet while sober, and feels that alcohol helps him to socialize.”

Stress is another reason that people drank alcohol and this is common, i.e. the person often attempts to relieve stress. Alcohol according to the reviewer is nothing more than a money waster and the alcohol keeps him in trouble. This is a bona fide alcoholic interviewed, since he meets the criteria not only according the standards of the Criminal Justice and Mental Health, but meets the criteria of the most people that holds the true meaning of alcoholism.

The person can drank in the early mornings, afternoons, evening, and drinks alcohol daily. This is truly an alcoholic. Yet, what drives him? Of course, he gave us reason, yet from studying the individual for hours, years, etc I know that mental illnesses exist. The person raised by a Paranoid Schizophrenia was driven to alcohol to escape the mental and physical abuse he endured, and fought his own demons in his head.

Where is the help? The person has frequent alcohol anonymous, half-way houses, etc and claimed that the services did nothing to help him recover from alcoholism, when in fact he is not lying, since evidence speaks louder than claims made at these institutions, etc. The only way a person can recover from alcoholism is to have the will to stop. With this in mind, we see that alcoholics do not have hope; otherwise, they would have human mechanisms that make them feel whole.

Alcoholism stretches to far countries, yet today everyone is nearly an alcoholic since the law has made it possible to become an alcoholic even if you are not.

Some people drink to forget things that happen in their, e.g. drinking to forget their problems. Again, this falls on stress.

One person drank all his life to avoid the demons inside. The person also rose by a Paranoid Schizophrenia, suffered mental illnesses resulting from the negligence of parenting. Still, he may show signs of chains binding his mind by the upbringing of schizophrenia, but he also show signs of his own mental illnesses as well. The man showed signs of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders-OCD, Schizophrenia, alcoholism, etc.

If you know someone struggling with alcohol, we encourage you to seek help. Some people cannot quite on their own and requires assistance from others. NEVER get in a persons face drinking and bring up alcohol, in fact do not do this even if the person is not drinking. This is known as co-addictions, which means you are the vehicle to the person drinking to a large degree. Nagging only makes a person do opposite.
